By Car
From UCLA: Go east on Sunset, then south on Beverly Glen. Go about two miles, through lights at Comstock, Wilshire, Rochester, Santa Monica. At Santa Monica get in the rightmost left-turn lane (there are two) [picture]. Immediately after turning left get into the little "south roadway", known in the local vernacular as "Little Santa Monica". Take the second right off Little Santa Monica onto Fox Hills. Go down Fox Hills, past Missouri, Lagrange, Dunkirk, and Misssippi, then turn right on Calvin. Go a bit more than one block, past the intersection with Louisiana. 10347 Calvin is the second house on the right after Louisiana, with a big green garage door. Parking is unrestricted after 6. From other locations: Navigate to the corner of Olympic and Beverly Glen Boulevard in West Los Angeles. Once you are there, go east on Olympic for three blocks, and turn left on Lauriston (at the Ralphs Grocery) [picture]. Then immediately turn left on Calvin. Our house is the fifth on the left, with a big green garage door. (If you've come from the east down Olympic, then of course you want to turn right onto Lauriston before you get to the corner of Beverly Glen. Lauriston is the second right turn after Century Park West, just past the Ralphs.) Parking is unrestricted after 6. These maps will help clarify.

From UCLA on foot (40 minutes)
If you're energetic, you can get to our house on foot. This route is mostly residential streets. Leave Campbell Hall, walk past Luvalle Commons, keep going straight, and exit UCLA at Wyton. Turn right on Hilgard, veer left on Warner. Follow Warner about a mile, crossing Wilshire at the light. Left on Rochester, go one block, right on Woodruff. Then right at Beverly Glen, follow it several blocks (crossing Santa Monica). Then second left on Mississippi, right on Benecia, left on Louisiana, go two blocks, right on Calvin. 10347 Calvin is the second house on the right after Louisiana, with a big garage door. From UCLA, take a Santa Monica #8 or #12 to the corner of Westwood and Olympic, obtaining a transfer when you get on. Change to a Santa Monica #5 going eastbound on Olympic. Get off at Century Park West, and follow the blue line on this map to 10347 Calvin Ave.
